Our ICU and neonatal stalls are equipped to care for critically ill patients. The two neonatal stalls can be heated or cooled, as needed. Our ICU & neonatal stalls are roomy 18x20 and provide plenty of room for a mare and foal or long-term isolation cases. We are equipped to meet the challenges of infectious disease and support for critically ill horses. The doctors use advanced diagnostics and in-house laboratory to quickly diagnose and closely monitor their patients conditions.
Our doctors have a special interest in neurology and our hospital is equipped with a neurology stall. The neurology stall has an overhead hoist to assist down horses in regaining their ability to walk. The doctors of AVS Equine diagnosis & treat a large number of EPM cases each year, along with other neurologic conditions.
One of the greatest gifts we provide our clients is family-care! We will know your horse's name and we will treat your horse and you as though you are family.
